Param Sundari Day 5 Box Office Collection: Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor Film Slows Down Midweek Ahead Of New Releases

Param Sundari, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, witnessed a noticeable drop on its sixth day at the box office. Despite the Buy One Get One (BOGO) ticket offer being in effect, the film could not maintain the same momentum as Tuesday. With just a day left before multiple big releases hit theatres, this dip shows how crucial the coming days are going to be for the film.

Param Sundari Box Office Collection

The film started its run on Friday with a respectable opening, gaining momentum over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday added solid numbers, helping it close its first three days on a decent note. However, the weekdays have been a mixed bag.

On Monday, the movie saw a sharp fall, which is quite common after a weekend high. Thanks to the Blockbuster Tuesday offer, Param Sundari managed to bounce back, but the Wednesday numbers have again come down.

Day-Wise Box Office Collection

Here’s how Param Sundari has fared in its first six days at the box office:

  • Day 1 (Friday): ₹7.37 crore
  • Day 2 (Saturday): ₹10.07 crore
  • Day 3 (Sunday): ₹11.04 crore
  • Day 4 (Monday): ₹3.32 crore
  • Day 5 (Tuesday): ₹4.31 crore
  • Day 6 (Wednesday): ₹2.87 crore
  • Total so far: ₹38.98 crore (India Nett)

The Wednesday dip clearly shows that the film is running out of steam. Even the ongoing BOGO offer hasn’t been able to give it the kind of boost the makers were hoping for.

Competition Ahead

The timing couldn’t be trickier for Param Sundari. From Friday, three major films are releasing — Baaghi 4, The Bengal Files, and Hollywood’s The Conjuring: Last Rites. Each of these films targets a different audience base, which will eat into Param Sundari’s screen count and audience share.

For Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s film, this means that the hold on Thursday is extremely important. If it manages to stay steady, Param Sundari might still add some respectable numbers in the coming weeks. But if the drop continues, the film could quickly lose its box office presence.

Final Verdict

Param Sundari has had a decent journey in its first six days, though it hasn’t turned into a runaway hit. The BOGO and Blockbuster offers did help temporarily, but the Wednesday dip proves that word of mouth and strong content matter more for long-term success. With new releases arriving, Param Sundari’s true test begins now. Its lifetime collections will depend on how much audience it can retain once the competition takes over from Friday.
