Director Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar has captured Gurgaon’s corporate hustle with authenticity while balancing it against quieter, emotional beats in Kolkata. The narrative flows smoothly, with genuine moments of laughter, friendship, and resilience. While the grounded tone sometimes clashes with quirky characters like Jaaved Jaaferi’s Dylan, those very quirks end up giving the show its unique flavour. The pacing dips occasionally, but the fun banter and heartwarming camaraderie between the leads keep things afloat. It’s not flawless, but the series is engaging and never loses sight of its core message—ambition, struggle, and partnership.

Diana Penty and Tamannaah Bhatia are the heart of the series — their chemistry is warm, believable and the emotional anchor of the show. Diana Penty shines as Anahita, delivering a grounded performance full of charm and determination. Tamannaah Bhatia matches her beat for beat as Shikha, playing a woman driven by legacy and revenge. She balances fire and vulnerability.

Neeraj Kabi as Vikram Walia is menacing, though at times a bit theatrical. Nakuul Mehta’s Bobby is sincere but underwritten. With an actor of his calibre, we really wish to see Nakuul Mehta more. Jaaved Jaaferi steals the show as Dylan, with his comic timing lighting up every scene. Sufi Motiwala as Firdaus is another delightful surprise, effortlessly bringing humour and energy. Shweta Tiwari, and Indraneil Sengupta provide solid support, though their roles could have been explored more as the script doesn’t give them full arcs.
