After entertaining audiences on television for more than a decade, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run finally takes its madness beyond the familiar lanes of Modern Colony. Directed by Shashank Bali and written by Sanjay Kohli, Vihaan Kohli, Raghuvir Shekhawat, and Shashank Bali himself, the film aims to transform the daily sitcom charm into a full-fledged theatrical entertainer.
Headlined by Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Vidisha Srivastava, and supported by Saanand Verma, Salim Zaidi, Yogesh Tripathi, Brijendra Kala, Vaibhav Mathur, Mushtaq Khan, Dinesh Lal Yadav, and Soma Rathod, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain banks heavily on nostalgia, familiarity, and the comic chemistry audiences already love. Much like Khichdi The Movie once did, this film does not aim for reinvention. It simply stretches the sitcom’s humor into a road-style comedy adventure. And largely, it succeeds in doing exactly that.
With a runtime of two hours and ten minutes, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run is breezy, loud, and unapologetically silly. It knows its audience well and never pretends to be anything it is not.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Story

The story keeps things simple and playful. Vibhuti Narayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, the eternally sparring neighbours, land themselves on an unexpected road trip along with their wives, Angoori Bhabhi and Anita Bhabhi. What starts off as a routine journey quickly spirals into chaos once they cross paths with two eccentric brothers, Shanti Sharma and Kranti Sharma.
Played by Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari, these brothers instantly add fuel to the madness. Shanti falls head over heels for Angoori Bhabhi, while Kranti develops a fascination for Anita Bhabhi. From this point on, misunderstandings multiply, tempers rise, and disguises become unavoidable.
The characters find themselves constantly on the run, stumbling into one comic situation after another. Mistaken identities, emotional outbursts, jealousy, and sudden friendships keep pushing the narrative forward. Beneath all the confusion, the film celebrates companionship, innocence, and the strange yet endearing relationships that define the Bhabiji universe. There are no high stakes here. No layered twists. And that is intentional. The film exists purely to make you laugh and relax.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Movie Review

Director Shashank Bali understands the rhythm of the show deeply, and that familiarity works in the film’s favour. The biggest strength of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run lies in how authentic it feels to the original series. The catchphrases, body language, and comic timing remain intact, ensuring fans feel instantly at home.
The humor remains clean and family-friendly. It relies heavily on situational comedy and verbal sparring, rather than slapstick overload. The road-trip format adds freshness, allowing the characters to interact in new environments while staying true to their core traits.
The first half of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain moves at a lively pace, filled with consistent gags and energetic sequences. Several moments genuinely land laughs, especially when Vibhuti and Tiwari try to outsmart each other while simultaneously impressing each other’s wives. The chaos feels organic and well-paced here.
The second half does slow down a bit, but the humor stays. The conflict never escalates beyond a point, which might leave some viewers wanting more dramatic stakes. Viewers unfamiliar with the television series may struggle to emotionally connect, as the film leans heavily on pre-established character affection rather than building fresh arcs.
On a technical level, the film keeps things simple. The cinematography is bright and colourful, matching the theatrical tone of the story. The editing ensures the narrative does not completely lose momentum, though a few scenes could have been trimmed. The background score supports the humor without becoming distracting. The song “Manjogi” stands out and adds a pleasant musical break that blends well with the film’s lighthearted mood. The makers wisely avoid experimentation, focusing instead on delivering a comfortable, feel-good experience.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Performances

Aasif Sheikh once again proves why Vibhuti Narayan Mishra remains the heart of the franchise. His comic timing is effortless, his expressions priceless, and his dialogue delivery spot-on. He shoulders much of the humour and does so with ease.
Shubhangi Atre maintains Angoori Bhabhi’s innocence beautifully. Her simplicity and sweetness provide emotional warmth amidst the chaos. Vidisha Srivastava brings elegance to Anita Bhabhi and balances the louder energy around her with calm confidence.
Rohitashv Gour as Manmohan Tiwari is as dependable as ever. His jealousy-driven reactions and exaggerated emotional outbursts keep the laughs coming. The Vibhuti-Tiwari rivalry remains the film’s strongest comic engine.
Ravi Kishan as Shanti Sharma is superb. He adds a loud, dramatic flair that lifts the film. Mukesh Tiwari complements him perfectly, blending intensity with humor and ensuring their sibling dynamic feels entertaining.

Saanand Verma is always a treat to watch. He is such a natural talent that whenever he is on the screen, he owns it completely.
Salim Zaidi proves once again that he is an underrated performer with sharp comic instincts. He is equally entertaining and deserves more screen presence, undoubtedly.
The extended ensemble cast, including Dinesh Lal Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Soma Rathod, Yogesh Tripathi, Mushtaq Khan, Naveen Bawa, Vaibhav Mathur, and others, ensures that the film never feels empty. Their presence adds to the collective chaos and keeps the screen lively.
Final Verdict

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run is exactly what it promises to be. A cheerful, nostalgia-driven entertainer packed with familiar faces and predictable laughs. It does not aim for depth or reinvention, but it delivers comfort and amusement in abundance.
