Drishyam The Conclusion has continued its strong run at the box office even after the opening weekend. The Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat starrer remained steady on its first Monday, showing that the film’s theatrical momentum has not disappeared after a huge opening weekend.

The third instalment of the Drishyam franchise entered the crucial weekday phase with considerable expectations. Drishyam The Conclusion has managed to retain a sizeable audience on Monday, keeping the film comfortably on course for its next major milestone.

Strong word of mouth has been one of the biggest advantages for the film. The response from audiences has helped the movie maintain a healthy hold despite the natural drop that comes with the first working day after the weekend.

Drishyam The Conclusion Day 4 Box Office Collection

Drishyam The Conclusion collected Rs 21 crore India net on Day 4, taking its four-day total to Rs 195.50 crore in India. The film opened with Rs 62 crore on Friday. It followed that up with Rs 52 crore on Saturday and a strong Rs 60.50 crore on Sunday. The Monday collection of Rs 21 crore is therefore a substantial weekday hold after such a huge opening weekend.

Day India Nett India Gross
Day 1 – Friday Rs 62 crore Rs 73.16 crore
Day 2 – Saturday Rs 52 crore Rs 61.36 crore
Day 3 – Sunday Rs 60.50 crore Rs 71.39 crore
Day 4 – Monday Rs 21 crore Rs 24.78 crore
Total Rs 195.50 crore Rs 230.69 crore

The Monday trend is important because the film had already enjoyed a phenomenal weekend. A major fall on Monday could have raised questions about its weekday sustainability. Instead, the film has delivered a healthy hold and remained well above the Rs 20 crore mark.

The performance also takes the film extremely close to the Rs 200 crore milestone. Drishyam The Conclusion is now set to enter the Rs 200 crore club on Tuesday.

Superb Monday Hold Keeps Drishyam 3 Strong

Day Shows Occupancy
Day 1 – Friday 15,759 60.1%
Day 2 – Saturday 16,868 48.1%
Day 3 – Sunday 17,323 56%
Day 4 – Monday 16,274 25%

The first Monday is often regarded as one of the most important tests for a big Bollywood release. Monday brings the film back to regular working-day conditions. Drishyam The Conclusion has managed that transition well. The Rs 21 crore Monday collection represents a strong hold after the film collected Rs 174.50 crore during its opening weekend.

The film’s Tuesday advance booking trend provides another reason for optimism. For October 6, Drishyam 3 closed its advance booking with a gross collection of Rs 6.43 crore.

No Major Release Gives Drishyam 3 A Clear Run

Another major advantage for Drishyam The Conclusion is the competition scenario. The film is heading into its second week without a major release next week, giving it an opportunity to retain a strong number of screens and shows.

This could prove crucial for the film’s lifetime run. A film that enters its second weekend with strong occupancy and limited competition can maintain its momentum for considerably longer. The early target is already ambitious. The film is expected to cross Rs 300 crore during its second weekend if the current momentum continues.
