Chhaava Trailer

The Chhaava trailer begins with a voice saying ‘The king of Marathas, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is no longer alive, and soon enough, the Mughals will conquer the Maratha Samrajya.‘ To this, Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is introduced worshipping Shiv Pind with the voice in the background, “Yeh Sher Shiva ka Chhaava shor nahin karta, seedha shikaar karta hai!” (“The King is gone but his shadow (Chhaava) is still alive.”)

The Mughals wanted to expand their empires into the Deccan area in the Maratha region and Sambhaji Maharaj was standing between their plans. Akshaye Khanna steals the show in the role of ruthless Aurangzeb. Rashmika Mandanna looks good in the role of Maharani Yesubai. The trailer ends with Sambhaji Maharaj’s fight sequence with a lion, symbolizing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s courage.
