Big news for all Hera Pheri fans – Baburao is finally coming back! After months of confusion, statements, lawsuits, and heartbreak, the one and only Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he’s on board for Hera Pheri 3, and yes, the iconic trio is reuniting once again! Paresh Rawal says with a smile, officially ending the chaos around Hera Pheri 3.

“There’s no controversy… it’s all sorted.”

In a recent podcast chat with Himanshu Mehta, Paresh Rawal broke his silence on the so-called Hera Pheri 3 controversy—and his words are exactly what fans have been waiting to hear.

“There’s no controversy,” he said calmly. “When people love something so much, it becomes our responsibility to respect that love and work harder.”

How The Hera Pheri 3 Drama Started?

Back in May, things weren’t looking great for the film. When Paresh Rawal told a reporter that he had exited the project, fans were shocked. Soon after, Akshay Kumar’s production company, Cape of Good Films, sent him a legal notice demanding Rs. 25 crores in damages.

It got serious—fast.

To clear things up, Paresh Rawal returned the Rs. 11 lakh signing amount, plus 15% annual interest, and even added a little more to settle the matter. His original fee for the film was around Rs. 15 crores, but the payment plan required him to wait nearly two years—until after the film’s release in 2026 or 2027. That didn’t sit right with him.

So yes, things got messy. But thankfully, not for long.

Speaking in the podcast, Paresh Rawal explained that all issues are now behind them.

“Everyone just needed to get on the same page. There’s no bad blood—just a little fine-tuning,” he chuckled. “After all, we’re all creative people. Priyadarshan, Akshay, Suniel… we’ve been friends for many, many years.”

And just like that, the dream team is back—Raju, Shyam, and Baburao. The way it should be.

While promoting Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar was asked about the legal fight with Paresh Rawal. He chose not to comment, saying it was a serious matter being handled in court. But what won everyone over was his reaction when a journalist called Paresh “foolish” for leaving the project.

“Please don’t use that word. He’s my co-star, my friend for over 30 years. He’s a brilliant actor and someone I admire deeply.”

That moment spoke volumes. No PR statement could match the quiet respect Akshay showed.

When Is Hera Pheri 3 Coming Out?

Now that the drama is done, fans are asking the real question—when do we get to watch it?

If things go smoothly, shooting will likely begin sometime in 2025, and the film could hit theatres in late 2026 or early 2027. Yes, the wait is long. But with the original cast coming back, the hype is already building. And you know what? It’s worth it.

We’ve all grown up with Baburao’s glasses, Raju’s jugaads, and Shyam’s epic straight-faced burns. Seeing them again, together, in Hera Pheri 3 will be nothing short of nostalgia-fueled joy.

Just like how fans worldwide are buzzing about Squid Game 3, Indian audiences are equally hyped about Hera Pheri 3. One’s a deadly survival thriller, and the other is a chaotic comedy—but both have built global cult followings.

Interestingly, both feature three core characters, deep themes of survival, and loyal fans waiting for answers. While Squid Game 3 delivers tension and plot twists, Hera Pheri 3 brings laughter and desi madness.

2026 might just go down as the year of epic third chapters!

For a while, it looked like Hera Pheri 3 might lose its heart. But now, the bond between Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal has prevailed. Baburao is back, and so is our excitement. So here’s to nostalgia, to second chances, and to the film that made us laugh till our stomachs hurt.

“Utha le re baba… excitement ko utha le!”
