He began his career in 1969 with the film Saat Hindustani. He was one of the highest-paid actors in the 1990s when it came to payments. For all of the projects he chose after Khuda Gawah, he charged approximately INR 3 crores per film. 2. These two films cemented his reputation in the industry. But then, the actor was rumored to have charged Rs 50 lakhs for Rajkumar Kohli's Jaani Dushman, but his fee quickly rose to Rs 60-70 lakhs. 3.
