After the release of its trailer, ‘Race 3’ has been quite a popular talk for some or the other reason, be it for Daisy Shah’s famous ‘Business’ dialogue or Salman Khan turning lyricist. And here’s another one. We know and have heard of a lot of incidents when actors have injured themselves while shooting for their films. And Jacqueline Fernandez is one such victim.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s Eye Injury
The ‘Race 3’ actress injured her eye while shooting for the film. The actress suffered a permanent eye injury on sets of Race 3 and shared that her Iris will never be a perfect round again. Jacqueline took to Instagram on Saturday and shared that due to the accident on the sets, which happened in March earlier this year, her eye has got a permanent injury. She said she is thankful that she can still see but her iris is never going to be “a perfect round again”.
“So it’s a permanent injury and my iris will never be a perfect round again but so so grateful I can see!! #race3 memories ❤❤ #abudhabi”
Producer Ramesh Taurani earlier confirmed the news and told IANS,
“Yes, it was a minor injury. Jacqueline hurt herself above the eye while playing squash.”
The actor was immediately rushed to a hospital where she was administered primary treatment and, thereafter, she returned to the sets to complete the scheduled shoot. You can check out Jacqueline Fernandez’s Instagram post below.

Jacqueline is playing the character of Jessica and sharing screen space with Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in Race 3 will be seen doing quite a few high – octane action sequences in the movie.
An interesting fact is that Jacqueline and Anil Kapoor are the only two people from the current crew to have been a part of the first two installments of the franchise – Race and Race 2. The rest of the main actors on board are a part of the franchise for the first time. Race 3 will hit the screens on June 15, 2018. What do you think about this incident?
