Many more web series and movies that are all going to be available on the OTT giants will be released this week in January. Here is a list of the films and television shows releasing this weekend to make your day more joyful. Some of the movies and series have already been released, and others will soon. Mission Majnu
The Hindi-language spy thriller movie Mission Majnu is a work of fiction. Shantanu Bagchi is the director, and Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta are the producers. Rashmika Mandanna and Sidharth Malhotra play key roles in the film. Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain are also featured. Mission Majnu is a fictional story of an undercover operation carried out by India before and during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
The movie also draws its inspiration from real-life incidents. It reveals one of India’s most important historical missions. Chhatriwali
Chhatriwali is a 2023 Hindi-language romantic comedy movie. Ronnie Screwvala is the producer, and Tejas Deoskar is the director. Rakul Preet Singh, Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Rajesh Tailang are the cast members. ZEE5 released Chhatriwali on January 20, 2023. Action comedy Dhamaka is a 2022 Telugu movie. It was written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. The two main actors are Ravi Teja and Sreeleela. Additionally, People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts produced the movie. The movie was out in theatres on December 23, 2022, over the holiday weekend. Furthermore, Dhamaka has mixed reviews from critics.
When it was out, it was a huge commercial success. The movie earned over 74 crores worldwide box office revenue, ranking among the highest-grossing Telugu movies of 2022. It marked Ravi Teja’s return after a series of setbacks during the year. It will also be available on Netflix on January 22, 2023.
Driver Jamuna
The story of Driver Jamuna centers on a female cab driver who experiences several unexpected events. It happened when three criminally inclined passengers rented out her car. The trio also had the intention of killing a politician. The protagonist, however, becomes entangled in the chaos and is speechless. The rest of the story is based on how bravely she handles the circumstance. Kinslin, Appaguru, and Karthik M. Somasundaram are the film’s directors.
Additionally, Driver Jamuna will be out on the OTT platform Aha on January 20, 2023. Aishwarya Rajesh gave a good performance as cab driver Jamuna in the movie. Aadukalam Naren, Sriranjini, Manikanta, and Kavitha Bharathi, who played supporting roles, also did well.
Youth Of May
A 2021 South Korean television series is titled Youth of May. Lee Do-Hyun, Go Min-si, Lee Sang-Yi, and Keum Sae-rok are the main actors. Fauda Season 4
The creators of the Israeli television series Fauda are Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff. Their experiences in the Israel Defense Forces are the subject. In Leopard Skin, a criminal group hides out in a distant beachside estate. Playa Perdida, Mexico, is the home of two intriguing women. However, when dinner guests join them, amusing and dangerous situations occur. As everyone waits to learn their fate after being taken hostage, violent secrets, heartless betrayals, and frightening desires rise to the surface.
The English version will debut on the OTT platform Lionsgate Play on January 20, 2023.
Hunt For The Indian Mujahideen
Hunt For The Indian Mujahideen is a creation of Warner Bros. It illustrates the steps of arresting dangerous criminals. They were responsible for a series of blasts that wreaked devastation across the country in different Indian cities. It also explores the investigating officers’ first-person narrative. The investigation will become clear to viewers as the narrative develops. They eventually learn the background of one of the most frightening domestic terrorist networks as a result.
