In the previous episode, Neerja got agitated when everyone refused to help Protima because of her connection with Sonagachi. Neerja used to believe that Protima works in a hospital and stores her belongings in a suitcase. As a result, she went to the hospital and inquired the nurses about Protima. She even checked the record registers, but there was no sign of Protima ever working there. Upon going back to Sonagachi, Neerja was seen searching for that suitcase. In her desperation, she broke the lock of the bag and saw a saree, ghungroos, and some other jewelry items inside it. Didun stated that this is what Protima would wear when she went to work. Meanwhile, Abeer started thinking about Neerja and wanted to discover her connection with him.

The Truth Is Unveiled

Didun tells her that her mother, Protima, is also a prostitute and states how she kept this information hidden for all these years. Didun further taunts Neerja on how she believes Protima to be a saint when, in reality, she is the same as everyone else. Neerja will not be able to believe Didun’s word. She is enraged and picks up the hammer to hit Didun.
