Deepak Kumar Mishra has revealed that the new season will not simply continue from the same point. The lives of the characters will move forward, with Pradhan Ji’s life after losing the election becoming an important part of the story. The director said:
“Everyone’s lives will move forward. The elections are over. Pradhan Ji has lost. But the story will explore how his life moves forward after that, and how the lives of the other characters progress as well. How does a Pradhan who has lost an election now move around the village? What does he do?”
This could create a fresh dynamic in Phulera. Pradhan Ji has been at the centre of the village’s political world for several seasons. Seeing him deal with the consequences of losing power could bring both humour and emotional moments. The arrival of a new Pradhan also means new rivalries and power struggles could emerge.
