The way that director Homi Adajania handles his female characters is distinctly unusual. Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’s prose is so dense with information that it continues peeling back new layers. This develops with each episode and immerses the viewer more deeply in the subject matter. As Rani Maa, also known as Savitri, Dimple Kapadia plays with fire. She also goes above and beyond because she is aware of the expectations the director has of her.

She portrays Savitri with ease as well. Isha Talwar, who portrays a married woman, comes in second with her performance. Radhika Madan is also naturally creative; thus, she fits perfectly into this character. She is extremely fierce as Shanta. Varun Mitra behaves in line with expectations, and Deepak Dobriyal transforms into the typical monk villain. Additionally, Naseeruddin Shah does an outstanding job, as usual.

In addition, Ashish Verma excels at playing the challenging role of Harish, making him the male highlight in this film. The series’ creative team leads to a universe that is so convincing that it’s hard to believe it’s not real. Along with them are costume designer Maxima Basu, production designers Bindiya Chhabria and Arvind Kumar, and cinematographer Linesh Desai. Moving on, Sachin-Jigar’s music is fantastic since it raises the tempo of the narrative.
