A Twitter user recently posted a tweet in praise of all the talented actresses from the South industry. He posted a photo from the Vettri cinema in Chennai that had a poster of films led by women. Furthermore, in addition to posting the picture, he wrote something very delightfully agreeable. He tried to highlight how Tamil cinema has come a long way. A time when men mostly led the industry has now transformed. It is now run by plenty of impeccable women.

The user wrote, as we quote,

“Passing by the Vettri theatre in Chromepet, my sister and I realized it had the banners of all the movies with a woman lead. What a long way Tamil cinema has come! 10 years back, this would have been unimaginable.”

The tweet caught the attention of South queen Samantha. She did not take a minute and retweeted it by writing, as we quote,

“Women rising.”

 

Furthermore, after retweeting this tweet, a troller came to the comment section in order to show his sexist notions. He wrote, as we quote,

“Yes just to fall.”

 

 

Samantha’s Sassy Reply To The Troll

The insensitive and sexist comment of the troller got noticed by none other than Samantha herself. She did not just notice it but also gave a very sassy yet savage reply. She took to the comment section and replied, as we quote,

“Getting back up makes it all the more sweeter my friend.”

This reply of hers won the hearts of several of her fans. Several fans commented loving comments on her post. To one fan, she replied by stating,

“Thank you for always having my back ..the strength I still have is because of all of your prayers.”

Meanwhile, on the flip side, if we talk about her work front, Samantha will be seen in the directorial work of Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam. The actress recently announced the release date of her upcoming film with a new poster on her social media. The film will hit the big screens on February 17, 2023.
