Cinetales brings you the latest on Hera Pheri 3 as Suniel Shetty reacts to Paresh Rawal’s exit, calling it a ‘crisis’ for the iconic franchise. The current state of the Hera Pheri universe is not the humorous one we have grown to love. You can see how iconic Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya are if you grew up quoting Baburao’s one-liners or if you’ve laughed uncontrollably while watching them fall for crazy schemes. However, it now appears that the renowned chemistry may be in jeopardy.

Paresh Rawal, who portrayed Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the iconic film, has left Hera Pheri 3. And admirers are shocked. He wrote on X,

“I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”

When Suniel Shetty, aka Shyam, heard the news, he didn’t hold back. In an interview, he stated, “Even Akshay is clueless,” he said.

“This is a crisis. I can understand if someone says the film can do without me or even Akshay, but Hera Pheri cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. Baburao is the soul of the franchise. It cannot happen. 100 percent cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. It can have a 1 percent chance without me and Akshay, but 100% can’t happen without Paresh ji.”

He is right here. Baburao was the movie, not just a comic relief, thanks to his big glasses, dhoti, and his wise-yet-confused demeanor. His lines, such as “Ye Babu Rao ka style hai” and “Utha le re baba!” have made their way into pop culture.

Cape Of Good Films Sues Paresh Rawal

According to reports, Rawal and the filmmakers may have disagreed on artistic matters, such as the quality of the script or the amount of money. In an interview, he responded in a mysterious but informative way: “I didn’t want to repeat myself. Baburao has already lived his life in two movies. Unless the writing does justice to him, what more is left to say?”

Aww! Without saying much, that conveys a lot.

And it might be becoming legal. There are reports that Paresh Rawal has been sued for breach of contract for ₹25 crore by Akshay Kumar’s production company, Cape Of Good Film. Fans who simply want to see their beloved group return to action may find it heartbreaking if that is true, in addition to being nasty.

The original classic’s director, Priyadarshan, also had some thoughts. “Those three actors’ chemistry is what makes Hera Pheri so magical. It’s simply not the same without that,” he stated.

Apparently, fans concur. Hashtags like #BringBackBabuRao and #NoPareshNoHeraPheri went viral on social media. There are numerous memes depicting Baburao yelling into a landline phone or appearing perplexed. The message is clear: Hera Pheri just wouldn’t exist without Rawal.

Suniel Shetty is still optimistic. “We can definitely figure this out,” he remarked. Together, we’ve made great progress. We have a personal connection in addition to our professional one. Hera Pheri 3 will happen, in my opinion, but only if all three of us are on board.

The production crew has not commented as of yet. Just a great deal of conjecture, neither confirmation nor rejection.

What Will Happen To Hera Pheri 3?

Let’s be honest. Without the original cast, no one requested a Hera Pheri sequel. It seems like someone remixing your favorite song from childhood-with terrible autotune-when you consider another actor taking Paresh Rawal’s place.

However, it is possible that this is not the end. Perhaps calmer heads will win out. Perhaps the creators will understand what fans already know: Hera Pheri is more than just a series of movies; it’s an emotion.

And emotions? They are not readily faded.

So tell us, what do you think? Can Hera Pheri 3 succeed without Baburao? Drop your thoughts in the comments or tag us using #NoBaburaoNoHeraPheri on social media!
