Vash Level 2 Review: Janki Bodiwala And Hitu Kanodia Shine In A Raw And Chaotic Horror Sequel

Why everyone’s talking About Vash 2 Sequels are always risky, right? Sometimes they surprise us, sometimes they leave us disappointed. But ever since the trailer of Vash 2 dropped, horror fans just couldn’t stop buzzing about it. The first film (Vash, 2023) was such a solid scare-fest that people were naturally curious—what’s next?

This time, director Krishnadev Yagnik goes all out, with Janki Bodiwala back in the spotlight and the film hitting theatres in both Gujarati and Hindi (Vash Vivash Level 2). The big question is—does it give us chills or just noise?

Vash 2 Story

The sequel jumps forward twelve years after Atharva saved his daughter Aarya from a terrifying possession. You’d think the nightmare ended there, but no—darkness has a way of coming back.

The real shocker begins in a school, when a group of teenage girls suddenly start behaving like they’re under a spell. They move like lifeless puppets, and the visuals are seriously disturbing. Imagine a bunch of students jumping off terraces together or attacking strangers in perfect sync—it’s the stuff of nightmares.

Atharva soon discovers the evil mastermind behind it all: the sinister magician Pratap. Once again, he’s forced into battle, only this time the danger isn’t limited to his family—it’s bigger, scarier, and harder to fight.

Vash 2 Review

Unlike the first Vash, which built up tension slowly and trapped us inside a single house, Vash 2 doesn’t waste a second. From the very beginning, it throws you into chaos, and honestly, that’s what makes it exciting.

The first half works brilliantly. The hypnosis scenes are raw, disturbing, and impossible to shake off. The school sequences, especially, hit hard—they feel like a zombie movie collided with a slasher, and the result is spine-chilling.

But then comes the second half. The pace slows down, familiar horror clichés pop up, and the climax feels rushed. The “big reveal” doesn’t shock as much as it should—it feels too simple compared to the chaos before it.

Still, what makes Vash 2 different is that it doesn’t try to be polished or glossy. It’s chaotic, yes, but it feels real. Unlike Bollywood’s remake Shaitaan, which was slick but lacked bite, Vash 2 embraces its raw edges—and that’s why it leaves an impact.

Vash 2 Performances

Janki Bodiwala, who owned the first part, takes a quieter role here. For most of the film, she’s in a frozen, almost trance-like state. Her smile alone is creepy enough to send chills down your spine. She doesn’t get a ton of screen time, but when she does snap out for a moment, it’s unforgettable.

The real backbone of the film is Hitu Kanodia as Atharva. His performance gives the film its emotional punch—you can feel his fear, frustration, and determination as a father trying to fight back.

Hiten Kumar adds weight as the terrifying black magician Pratap, while Monal Gajjar plays the helpless principal watching horror unfold. Each of them plays their part well, though Kanodia definitely carries the film.

Final Verdict

So, here’s the truth—Vash 2 isn’t perfect. It’s messy at times, and the climax could’ve been way stronger. But it does something few horror films dare to do—it goes all in. It’s raw, disturbing, and definitely not for the faint-hearted.

If you’re looking for subtle, polished horror, this might not be your cup of tea. But if you enjoy films that shock, disturb, and keep you hooked even when they stumble, Vash 2 is worth watching on the big screen.
