He is also known for his simplicity and humble nature. Recently, Vidyut Jammwal is in the news for promoting his upcoming film Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II Agni-Pariksha.

 

Vidyut Jammwal On What Makes Him Different From Other Action Actors

In an interview with Film Companion, Vidyut Jammwal was asked how he differentiates himself from other action actors like Aditya Roy Kapur, Tiger Shroff, and John Abraham and how he keeps honing his skills. Speaking about it, Vidyut said,

“All the gentlemen you have referred to, are great action stars but I am the top martial artist in the world officially. I work throughout, whether I am sleeping or I am awake. I am in awareness that how I can I hone my skills. What people see, sometimes they compare me to Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa, and other legendary people and it’s amazing that they compare me to the best. It’s like Vidyut you are as good as Michael Jackson when you move. Wow. So for that, you’ve got to be aware all the time.”

He continued,

All the time, you have to be aware, everywhere. I am honing my skills not only physically but as an action star. I keep watching. If this happens, what will I do. I keep putting myself in these situations all the time and that’s what I show on screen. so every time I perform a scene, I am somebody who is skilled, hence I would do it differently.”

 

What Is More Difficult? Acting Or Fight?

On asking, what is difficult to act or to fight? To which Vidyut Jammwal replied,

“I will have to explain this to you, if you really are a fine martial arts artist, you will be fine in everything else. Because you have discipline. You got passion, a true martial artist. To kick things is not martial arts, it has to be martial arts.”

Vidyut Jammwal makes it to the ‘10 People You Don’t Want To Mess With‘ in the world list by The Richest. Vidyut Jammwal is a trained stunt professional in the country. He is well versed in martial arts form ‘Kalaripayattu.’ The actions he performed in the movies are jaw-dropping.

Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II – Agni Pariksha is a sequel to the 2020 film Khuda Haafiz.  The film will release in theatres on July 8. It is written and directed by Faruk Kabir. Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi will reprise their roles of Sameer and Nargis respectively.
