Daayan is a supernatural thriller show and is being produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms, which airs on &TV. Now we hear that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Anupama Solanki is soon going to enter the show and her entry will bring in lots of twists and turns for all the characters.
She will be playing the character of devils’ god and all the devils in the show will be working on her command. “This is the negative lead character of the show and hence is a strong and challenging role to portray. My character name is Vaitilini and It is more challenging for me because it is totally different from any other role I have done so far. I am excited to be playing this character as this is a new experience for me and hence will be a great learning experience.”
Anupama was seen playing positive and innocent roles so far and now for the first time she is playing the Negative character. When asked about how is it to play the god of devils, she said “I was comfortable with playing positive roles & then this role came up which is so unique in itself. A negative role with so much power was totally different and out of my comfort zone. It is a wonderful experience to be playing this part. The uniqueness and the character encouraged me to take up this show. As this role was totally new for me, I took it as a challenge to explore my Acting and most important this character has inspired by Hollywood.”
Anupama has been preparing very hard for the show as this was something new for her, she has been binge watching a horror movie. “This character demanded a hoarse voice so I had to practice for that as well. When I saw my look for the show it helped me relate to the character and the voice, it is fun playing a negative character, I hope the audience also likes my character. Watch Daayan every Saturday & Sunday on &TV at 9 pm.
