Anand is one of the highest-rated Indian films on IMDB. Rajesh Kumar played the titular role who was suffering from lymphoma, a kind of blood cancer. Remember the dialogue, Babumoshai Zindagi Badi Honi Chahiye, Lambi Nahi, it is from the movie Anand only. Rajesh Khanna received the Filmfare award for the Best Actor for his incredible performance. Amitabh Bachchan was the second lead in the movie.

Rani Mukerji has played the role of a deaf-blind girl, while Amitabh Bachchan has played the role of a teacher who develops Alzheimer’s diseases. Aamir Khan played the role of businessman Sanjay Singhania who develops anterograde amnesia after a violent encounter. He loses his memory every 15 minutes and has short-term memory loss. The movie is incredible and is about love, thrill, and revenge. Ghajini is the first Indian movie to cross INR 100 crores at the domestic box-office.

 

5. Guzaarish

Hrithik Roshan plays the character of Ethan Mascarenhas who is a quadriplegic. Ethan is paralyzed and immobilized with a spinal injury. He asks for a mercy killing. Guzaarish was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this is the third movie of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai together after Dhoom 2, and Jodha Akbar. Hrithik Roshan’s performance was highly appreciated.
