Emraan Hashmi and Genelia Deshmukh are bringing romance to the screen with Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar, the latest song from Gunmaaster G9. The new track is out now, and the fresh pairing of Emraan and Genelia is one of its biggest highlights.
Himesh Reshammiya has composed and sung the song with Akasa Singh, while Sonia Kapoor Reshammiya has penned the lyrics. With its romantic mood and the lead pair’s on-screen chemistry, the track offers a different flavour from the action and drama expected in the film.
Emraan Hashmi – Genelia Deshmukh’s Romance Takes Centre Stage
Emraan and Genelia share some lovely moments in Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar. Their expressions, lingering looks and closeness give the song its romantic appeal. The chemistry feels central to the visuals, making their pairing worth watching.
The song also marks a fresh on-screen combination. Although both actors have been part of several popular films, this is their first pairing together. Their scenes bring a softer side to Gunmaaster G9, which combines romance with action and drama. For Emraan Hashmi, who has often been associated with memorable romantic songs, the track also brings back a familiar musical space.
Himesh Reshammiya Reunites With Emraan Hashmi
Himesh Reshammiya and Emraan Hashmi have a musical history that Bollywood fans will remember well. Their collaborations during the 2000s delivered several popular tracks, including Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Aap Ki Kashish and Jhalak Dikhlaja.
These songs became closely associated with Emraan’s screen presence and Himesh’s distinctive musical style. Their latest collaboration in Gunmaaster G9 brings the two together once again.
Himesh has also been part of the film’s earlier musical releases. The first song, Afsaana Banaaya Aapne, featuring Emraan and Genelia, was released on September 23, 2026. Himesh sang it with Asees Kaur.
Gunmaaster G9’s Third Song: Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar
Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar is the third song released from the film. It follows Afsaana Banaaya Aapne and Do Din Ki Zindagi.
The second track featured Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Mishra on vocals. Unlike the romantic mood of the latest release, Do Din Ki Zindagi explores the emotional side of the film. With three songs now released, the soundtrack has introduced listeners to different moods ahead of the film’s arrival in cinemas.
