However, the tide turned as the weekend unfolded, witnessing an upward trend with Rs 25.61 crore on Saturday and Rs 30.7 crore on Sunday. The first-week earnings soared to Rs 160.22 crore, solidifying its position. Dunki primarily stayed in single-digit territory in its second week except for a surprising surge on the second Sunday, amassing Rs 11.5 crore. The overall net Box Office collection for the second week amounted to Rs 46.25 crore, bringing the total Indian earnings to Rs 208.67 crore.

Despite facing tough competition from Prabhas’ Salaar, which was released on December 22, Dunki has held its ground. Made with Rs 120 crore, Dunki has already garnered Rs 422.90 crore globally, as per Red Chillies Entertainment. In contrast, Salaar, with a whopping budget of Rs 270 crore, managed to amass Rs 578.55 crore worldwide, boasting an impressive 214% Return on Investment.
