Gaurav Khanna Enters As Anuj Kapadia In Anupama; Here’s Everything About Him

A new actor is scheduled to join the cast of Star Plus’ popular daily Anupama. In the upcoming episode, actor Gaurav Khanna will make his first appearance on the program, playing Anupama’s college friend Anuj Kapadia. Previously, Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, and Sharad Kelkar were rumored to be in talks for the role. The show’s fans can anticipate a major plot twist.

For the time being, Gaurav’s character has been established as a wealthy businessman who plans to purchase Anupama’s (Rupali Ganguly) and Vanraj’s (Sudhanshu Pandey) property at an astronomically high price. At their school’s reunion celebration, he’ll run into Anupama. Anuj liked Anupama during their time together, according to the show’s teaser.

Gaurav, a Kanpur native, quit his marketing job to try his hand at acting. His television career began with minor roles in dramas such as Bhabhi (2006) and Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (2007). In 2007, he landed his first leading role in the ZEE TV program Meri Doli Tere Angana. He rose to fame after portraying Abeer Bajpayee opposite Yami Gautam in the Colors TV serial Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. He also appeared in productions such as Chandragupta Maurya, Laal Ishq, and Chandra Nandini.

Gaurav also competed in Jalwa for Two Ka One, a dance competition show on 9X. He’s also been a host on Saroj Khan’s show Nachle Ve. In CID, he has also served as a Senior Inspector. In episode 1060, he made his debut. Apart from that, there are movies like Gaurav Ko Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Believe it or Not, Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai, Son, Luv Ne Mila Di Jodi, and so on.

Gaurav is married to television actress Akansha Chamola, who played Parineeta Maheshwari in the renowned television series Swaragini.

Because Gaurav is portraying Anupama’s college friend, he must have the appearance of a middle-aged man in his early 40s. For the same reason, the actor had to take a break from working out. “I didn’t have a lot of time to prepare for the role,” he said. He also added that to fit the part; he has cut back on my workout time. As a result, his character will be in decent shape but not great. He is also attempting to gain weight on my face to get a more aged appearance.

Gaurav, who made a name for himself with his TV show Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, admitted that he isn’t an ardent viewer of Anupamaa. However, he claims that his mother is a huge fan of the show and that she is the most excited about his working on it.
