Let’s Meet Movie Review

Written and directed by Ravinder (Ricky) Sandhu, the film is based on a story by Anil B. Akki. Ravinder Sandhu has beautifully captured the emotions of a couple who gets into a relationship through social media. His direction is engaging and equally appealing. Producer Pradeep Rangwani, who is known for the critically acclaimed film ‘Guthlee Ladoo’ brings another beautiful story. The narrative is engaging.
The music by Prini Siddhant Madhav and Rohan & Rohan is melodious. The lyricist Naveen Tyagi wrote good songs that suit the theme of the film. The emotional song Chouvih Ghante sung by Javed Ali decently captures the ups and downs. The background music is good but could be more appealing. Anil Akki’s cinematography also adds value to the story with every frame and elevates the scene.
Let’s Meet Movie Performances

Tanuj Virwani gets into the skin of the character with perfection. The desperation in his expression to meet Priya is relatable and convincing. Even in the emotional scenes, he excels. Suman Rana also gave a brilliant performance. She is natural and plays her part with perfection. The chemistry between the duo is commendable. Apart from them, Supriya Shailija, Srishti Maheshwari, Litesh Pawar, and Anila Kharbanda have played their roles well.

The first half of the film takes time to build and is slow. You may need patience initially to get involved. Some scenes could be trimmed with proper editing. Also, the pandemic era should have been shown with more emptiness to make the audience connect with it. The second half picks up the pace and it is engaging. The climax of the film has been executed properly. It gives you satisfaction and feels worth spending watching the film.
Final Verdict

Let’s Meet explores the modern-day digital-age love story formed through social media that feels fresh and relatable. The performance of Tanuj Virwani and Suman Rana makes it more mesmerizing. The film will surely grab the attention of the youth. It is arriving on February 7, just in time for Valentine’s Week. If you like watching love stories or romantic films, Let’s Meet is a good option to watch with your partner this Valentine’s week.
