The story of Malang revolves around Advait played by Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara portrayed by Disha Patani. Advait is an introvert and Sara is a free spirit young girl from London and loves to enjoy her life to the fullest. She visits India for the first time and meets Advait in Goa. The two instantly connect with each other and enjoy their company by doing various different adventure sports.

But then comes the twist in the tale that puts Advait behind the bars. Five years later, he comes out and seeks vengeance from the responsible. Anil Kapoor played the role of a cop Anjaaney Agase who does not follow rules and Kunal Kemmu plays the character of Michael Rodrigues also a shady cop. Both go on a hunt for Advait. The movies go on in two timelines. The first is what is the reason for revenge and the second is how did it execute. Why Advait is doing this, is what the rest of the movie is all about.

Director Mohit Suri tried to deliver its best. But honestly, it is Awarapan, that is still his best movie ever. He tried to execute the movie with thrill, suspense, and beautiful music. But the first half of the movie is slow. The second half desperately tries to justify what we saw in the first. The chemistry between Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani looked smoking hot. Aditya Roy Kapur impressed with his performance. Kunal Kemmu looked sincere in his performance. But it is Anil Kapoor who delivers yet another brilliant performance. The music of the movie Malang is its USP. The songs are chartbusters and are melodious to hear. The action scenes in some parts are needless and stretched. The suspense becomes predictable and in the last 15 minutes, the movie goes in a fast-paced to finish. We give Malang 3 stars out of 5.
