Chunky Pandey, father of Ananya Panday finally opens up on her daughter’s statement. In the recent Rajiv Masand’s talk show, Bollywood celebrities like Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi were present in the discussion. During the discussion, the topic of nepotism came. Ananya Panday, daughter of Chunky Pandey who made her debut with Dharma’s Productions Student Of The Year 2 opened up about nepotism and her struggles in the Bollywood industry. She said,
“Everyone says that it is all glamorous and I’ve gotten everything that I wanted. But I’m very grateful that I’m my Dad’s daughter and I wouldn’t want it any other way. When people hate on me for nepotism, I’m not going to shy away that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. My Dad has worked really hard and he’s still working.” “I’m so proud of him. I’m proud of being his daughter.
“Just because my Dad is an actor I’m not gonna say no to a film. My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.”
Siddhant Chaturvedi who is famous for his role as MC Sher from the movie GullyBoy. His epic response to Ananya Panday is winning hearts on social media. Siddhant told,
“Everyone has their own struggle. But difference yahi hai ki jahan hamare sapne poore hotein hai, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai.” (The difference is that where our dreams get fulfilled that’s where their struggles starts).
Now finally Chunkey Pandey opens up on this. Recently during an interview when Chunkey Pandey was asked whether he has really struggled a lot, he replied,
“I like coffee a lot and would go on the show whenever Karan calls me.”
When asked, if he is upset with Karan Johar for not inviting him to the show, Chunky Pandey replied,
“I am not upset at all but rather happy because Karan Johar has cast my daughter in his film”.
