Bhabijji Ghar Par Hain is one of the most entertaining shows on Indian television. The character of the show become household names. Last year, Nehha Pendse has replaced Saumya Tandon in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. Saumya Tandon, who played the famous character of Anita Bhabi in the sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! has quit the show in August 2020. She had portrayed the role of Anita Bhabi for over five years. Now after almost a year, Nehha Pendse is also likely to quit the show in a couple of months. The makers of the show are now currently looking for a new actress to step into Nehha’s shoes, who plays Anita Bhabi.
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Nehha Pendse’s one-year contract will end in April and she isn’t too keen on renewing it. One of the major factors of her exiting the show is the hectic traveling. It takes her long hours to travel the sets and back home and has taken a toll on her health. The actress, as well as the makers, thought that they would be able to manage however things are not going so smooth.
A unit hand told TOI,
“Yes, we are in the process of bringing a new actress on board for the character of Anita Bhabhi and are auditioning actresses. We should be able to lock someone in a few weeks. Nehha’s one-year contract will end in April and she isn’t too keen on renewing it. One of the major factors of her exiting the show is the long commute. She spends hours traveling to the set and back home. It has taken a toll on her health. The makers and the actress thought that they would be able to manage it but it is now seeming difficult.”
For the new Anita Bhabi, several actresses have auditioned and the process is still going on. However, Nehha Pendse and producer Binaiferr Kohli have not confirmed the same so far.
