The trailer of super-patriotic movie Paltan is out and it unveils the story of Indian soldiers that dragged the Chinese troops away from Sikkim back in 1967.  Directed by J P Dutta, Paltan focuses on the hard-hitting truth of India’s relations with China, and how it is important to acknowledge that China, an enormous power in world politics, poses to be a huge threat to India.

The film is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration. After the victory in the 1962 war, China looked down on India and it started spreading its boundaries inside India. A group of super-patriot Indian soldiers clashes with the Chinese military in Nathu La in 1967. They showed extreme courage and fought off the Chinese military from Sikkim. The film will tell the untold story of the miniwar and eventually revitalize the memories of the martyrs. And, also to highlight what they went through at that time.

The film stars Arjun Rampal, Jackie Shroff, Abdul Quadir Amin, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Esha Gupta, Harshvardhan Rane, Monica Gill and Gurmeet Choudhary in key roles. Jackie Shroff is looking intense in the role of an Army officer who is ready to lay down anything for the country.
