Saiyaara Week 1 Box Office Collection: Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda’s Debut Film Becomes Second Highest Week 1 Grosser Of 2025

When was the last time a film led by debutants shook the box office this hard? Well, Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara just rewrote the rules of what a fresh-faced cast can do when backed by a strong story, hit music, and solid direction. With Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda stepping into Bollywood with this romantic drama, the film didn’t just meet expectations — it blasted right through them!

A Phenomenal Start With Massive Weekend Numbers

Saiyaara kicked off with a fantastic opening day of ₹22 crore on Friday. The buzz was already strong, thanks to YRF’s tight promotions and Mohit Suri’s storytelling reputation. But what truly propelled this one forward was the insane Saturday and Sunday jump — ₹26.25 crore and ₹35.75 crore respectively. That’s a ₹84 crore weekend  — unheard of for a debutant-led film!

What’s even more impressive? Saiyaara has become the second-highest Week 1 grosser of 2025, leaving behind biggies like Housefull 5, Sitaare Zameen Par, Sikandar, and Raid 2. The only film ahead is Chhaava, and Saiyaara is still just warming up. Weekend 2 is expected to fetch over ₹75 crore, and if trends hold, a ₹500 crore lifetime isn’t just a dream anymore.

Credit where it’s due — director Mohit Suri has delivered a winner with Saiyaara. Emotional depth, gripping narrative, and a chartbuster album — all came together perfectly. And with YRF backing this film and giving Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda a grand Bollywood welcome, this might just be the biggest debut launchpad since Band Baaja Baaraat.

Final Word

Saiyaara isn’t just a movie. It’s a movement. The youth has connected with it, families are showing up, and multiplexes are reporting repeat viewings. Week 2 and beyond will be super crucial, but all signs point to one thing — we have a monster hit on our hands.
