The entire world is suffering from a Coronavirus pandemic. India is now at fifth in the world with the most number of COVID-19 cases. The government of India has enforced the lockdown to control the situation from the novel coronavirus. To be honest, India has fewer cases compared to other countries, thanks to lockdown. But due to lockdown, many migrant workers and students stuck in several parts of the country. The poor people and daily wage workers suffered a lot because of lockdown. With no work and money, the migrant workers started going back walking towards their hometown miles away. The photos break our hearts. Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently shared a video name Pravaasi on her social media. The video has the heart-wrenching moments of the misery that many migrant workers and daily wages people had to face across the nation.
The Thappad actress shared a video on her social media platform Twitter. The video has her voice over where she is reciting the poem in the background. “We are just migrants, are we from this country?” The video shows the difficulties faced by migrant workers due to lockdown. It has some heart-wrenching pictures by recalling all the incidents that occurred during the lockdown. The words she spoke, those lines will leave a mark in your head.
Sharing the video, she wrote,
“A series of pictures that probably will never leave our mind. The lines that will echo in our head for a long time. This pandemic was worse than just a viral infection for India. #Pravaasi #CovidIndia”
