The Girl On The Train Review

Netflix

Parineeti Chopra nails with her terrific performance in the movie. It is one of the best roles she played in the Indian film industry. Director Ribhu Dasgupta did his best to keep the plot engaged till the end. He is indeed successful in it. Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari were also impeccable with their performances. Kirti Kulhari played the role of a cop. Aditi Rao Hydari’s character puts more elements of mystery into the plot. The cinematography of the movie is beautiful, however, there are some needless closeup shots of Parineeti Chopra.  Parineeti Chopra also sang the song Matlabi Yaariyaan Unplugged in the movie.

Netflix

Ribhu Dasgupta who directed Te3n and Bard of Blood before comes with another mystery thriller. The plot keeps you engaged till the end and makes it one of the best thrillers to watch out for in 2021. Do not compare the movie with the original one, because every movie has their own cast, crew, and their way of delivering the product. However, if you have watched the original The Girl On The Train then you already know the climax and make it a dull watch. We give the movie 3 stars out of 5.
