Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is one of the most entertaining shows on Indian television. Vidisha Srivastava, who plays the famous character of Anita Bhabi in the show, is pregnant. Last year, she joined the show following Nehha Pendse‘s exit. Nehha replaced Saumya Tandon. Recently, the show has completed eight years and 2000 episodes, a journey full of laughter and entertainment.
As per the source, Vidisha Srivastava is pregnant and is due in June. Just like her marriage, Vidisha has been tight-lipped about her pregnancy as well. She tied the knot in December 2018 with Sayak Paul in her hometown Varanasi. Sayak Paul is not from the film industry. The source told TOI,
“Vidisha is six months pregnant. People haven’t figured it out yet, as her baby bump isn’t too obvious. She will take a maternity break of around three months after her delivery. We will keep a bank of episodes and her scenes ready in advance so that the break doesn’t affect the show. This is exactly how we did when Saumya Tandon (the original Anita bhabhi) went on a four-month maternity break.”
Vidisha Srivastava has no plans of quitting the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. She is only going on maternity leave. The source said,
“The production house is not contemplating any replacement because it is certain that she will return to the show post her break.”
Saumya Tandon was the original Gori Mem, aka Anita Bhabi, when the show started in 2015. Six years later, in 2020, she quit the show, and Nehha Pendse replaced her. After two years, in February 2022, Vidisha joined as Anita Bhabi after Nehha too left the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Vidisha Srivastava is known for her impeccable acting prowess and phenomenal performances in films and television shows across Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
