The 29th July 2023 episode of Bhagya Lakshmi opens with Rishi recklessly driving to halt the wedding since he cannot allow it to happen to Lakshmi. Lakshmi declares that fate has established a barrier between them that they are unable to pass, despite their best efforts, as she looks at the photograph of herself and Rishi. She sobs, expressing her emotions for the first time and saying that although she loves Rishi too, they cannot be together forever. Lakshmi says that although fate did not provide them with a lifetime together, she will always cherish their time together.

The Baarat
Neelam knocks on their door; Lakshmi opens it while wiping away the last of her tears to hide any signs of misery off her face. When Neelam enters the space, she informs Lakshmi that Vikrant has come with the Baarat to wed her and take her to his house and way of life.

Neelam tells Lakshmi to wed Vikrant and send Rishi and his entire family away before beginning the following episode. Lakshmi only nods, speechless, and follows Neelam downstairs for the wedding procedures. In the meantiVikrant’snt’s men prevent Rishi from entering the wedding location as he arrives there. While Lakshmi waits with Vikrant in the mandap for the wedding ceremonies to begin, Rishi becomes angry and starts fighting with the thugs. Malishka shakes shoulders with Vikrant’s first wife and informs her that they will soon have a child out of Lakshmi as the pandit begins reciting hymns.
After fending off the thugs outside the wedding venue, Rishi heads towards the main door when two of them approach from behind and whack him with a wooden stick, knocking him down cold.
