The national crush of India, Rashmika Mandanna, has made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye. Rashmika as a stubborn daughter, delivers an earnest performance. With so many emotions on her shoulder, Rashmika has ensured you will feel them. There is only slight concern about her accent, as the family is Punjabi. However, she dubbed her own lines and did her best, and she will keep getting better with every single movie. Likewise, all the other cast did their best and played their roles with conviction.

It is because, Goodbye is on simple realism, the importance of family. Vikas Bahl has crafted every character superbly. The script is fresh, not an adapted or remake. The music is good. Jaikal Mahakal and Chann Pardesi are chartbusters. The background music compliments the story quite well. Yes, the film is loaded with emotions, but there are some short and sweet laughter bursts.
