On the occasion of Army Day, Ekta Kapoor announced the new season of patriotic web series Code M. Code M season 2 will star Jennifer Winget who will reprise her role of Major Monica Mehra. Jennifer Winget, one of the most followed actresses on Instagram made her digital debut from ALT Balaji and ZEE5 Code M last year.
Code M season 1 was the thriller where Major Monica Mehra played by Jennifer Winget played the role of a Military lawyer. She was appointed for a case of an encounter of two militants suspects. Code M season 1 has a total of eight episodes and offers an edge of the seat thriller.
Now, with the announcement of Code M Season 2, the audiences are excited about it. Both Ekta Kapoor and Jennifer Winget shared this news on their social media along with the teaser for Code M season 2. Jennifer Winget shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote,

Though there were many visual effects glitches in season 1, still the story was gripping. It holds the audience to watch the season till the end. Jennifer Winget looked promising on her digital debut and gave a solid strong performance. Code M season 2 will be more gripping, thrilling, and will be based on patriotic storylines. The shooting of season 2 will start soon.
