Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha is known for her performances in the movies Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Dream Girl. She was last seen in the recently released movie Chhorii. Nushrratt Bharuccha is getting appreciation for her role in the movie. It was the kind of role she had not played before. She has a huge fan following not only for her acting but also for her fashion sense. Recently, as a part of the promotion for Chhorii, Nushrratt talked about the time her family got disappointed and upset with a song in her film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Nushrratt Bharuccha worked in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety alongside Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh. The film has an item song Chhote Chhote Peg. The song was a chartbuster and a peppy number. In a recent interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Nushrratt Bharuccha revealed how her father, mother, father, and even her grandmother watched the music video with her and were ‘taken aback by her revealing outfit. Nushrratt said,
“They actually looked at me and asked me, ‘Is that a bra that you are wearing?’ I paused for two seconds and I said, ‘It’s a bralette. There’s a term for it, it’s a styling term. People wear it’.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha talked about her family’s reaction to her bold outfit and said,
“Of course, they were a little taken aback, like, ‘Yeh kya hai?’ It worked for the song, it worked for me, it looked nice, everybody spoke about it well, it became a hit. I think what happened was, they kind of understand there is a reason why certain things are done for a certain theme. Matlab agar iss gaane mein yeh hai toh yeh hai. It doesn’t take away from who I am. I have not fallen in any way so it was easy for them to get over it.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha will be next seen in the movie Hurdang alongside Vijay Varma and Sunny Kaushal, and Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez.
