After the release was stalled from Election committee twice, the biopic of Prime Minister PM Narendra Modi hit the theatres today. The film stars Vivek Oberoi in the titular role along with Manoj Joshi, Boman Irani, and Zarina Wahab. PM Narendra Modi is based on the life of Narendra Modi’s journey from his childhood to become Prime Minister of India in 2014.

The story of the movie starts with Narendra Modi is taking oath in ‘oath taking ceremony’ in 2014. The movie goes in flashback and begins with his childhood. The journey of Narendra Modi how he becomes Tea seller(Chai wala), then his journey of the Himalayas, monk, to become RSS member (Sangh Pracharak). Lastly, towards Chief Minister of Gujarat, Godhra riots and how he reaches to top in the politics is the story of the movie PM Narendra Modi. The movie is directed by Omung Kumar who has previously directed the biopic of Mary Kom.
PM Narendra Modi Movie Review
The fact is Vivek Oberoi played his part with perfection. Believe it or not, it is true. The body language of Vivek Oberoi was totally spot on. His gestures were correct. The dialogue delivery of him is also good. Vivek Oberoi fit into the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Manoj Joshi who played the role of Amit Shah has also done justice with the role. The political rivalry, his relation with Amit Shah and the journey of his politics have shown quite properly with captivating drama. The strong emotions of mother-son are a delight to watch. The simple story-telling and good cinematography with proper pace make this movie a treat for all Narendra Modi fans.
