Drishyam 2 Review

Abhishek Pathak directed the sequel and did a good job. He has adapted Jeetu Joseph’s original story properly. Though the first half is a little slow, one might wonder whether is there anything new to offer. However, the second half made up for it, thanks to the climax. The story remains unpredictable, with lots of twists and turns. Ajay Devgn, as a protective father with a sharp brain, once again excelled with his stellar performance. Akshaye Khanna, one of the most underrated actors, has shown once again on what he is capable of. Shriya Saran and Tabu deliver their performance with utmost honesty. Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav have portrayed their part well.

If you have watched the original, there is nothing new you will find in it. Yes, there are some creative freedom and difference from the original, but the storyline remains intact. The background score of the movie compliments the screenplay and keeps you engaged.
