The Jhanak episode from December 29, 2023, begins with Rumi giving Jhanak a soft drink blended with alcohol. However, she declines Rumi’s drink since she isn’t ready to consume it. But Arshi begins to perform on stage, which gets everyone excited. Rumi demands that she drink the juice to enjoy the party thoroughly. When Bipasha visits her, she coerces her into drinking more so that she will quickly become inebriated.

Jhanak’s Drunken State
After a while, Jhanak starts to feel strange after consuming an alcoholic beverage, while Anirudh and Arshi take the stage together. When she enters the stage during their performance, Mimi encourages her to dance to up the drama.
Bipasha’s proposition infuriates Arshi, but she begs Arshi to exercise patience so she can further embarrass Jhanak in front of everyone. She begins to dance on stage, even though she hesitates to participate because of Anirudh’s remark. Arshi is shocked and alarmed by her inebriated dancing since she doesn’t know what has happened to her.
Bipasha asks Jhanak to keep dancing in jest, and when she eventually quits, Anirudh asks her if she’s okay.
Arshi Slaps Jhanak
Drunk, Jhanak begins babbling to Anirudh, asking him why he hurts her every time her actions frighten Arshi. Her abrupt confrontation mortifies Anirudh. Jhanak clutches Anirudh’s hand and questions why he continuously degrades her in front of everyone. Anirudh cannot respond to her queries as she holds and criticizes Ani’s collar.
Arshi gives her a firm slap to stop her from babbling and tells her that her question has been validated. After getting slapped, she regains her composure and wonders why she was assaulted, while Anirudh feels sorry for her after observing Jhanak’s skinny, long face.
The elders questioned her later that night to find out how and why she obtained the drink at the celebration after Apu rushed to comfort and embrace her. However, Jhanak isn’t able to respond to the family’s inquiries.
Anirudh Loses His Calm
When Arshi asks Anirudh what Jhanak is alluding to, Anirudh responds that she was talking gibberish since she was intoxicated.
After Tanuja loses it on Jhanak, Arshi threatens to ruin Jhanak’s life if she finds out that Shrishti is intoxicated. Jhanak creates a scene that causes Anirudh to yell at her, wondering if there’s still more to happen to her. Arshi asks Jhanak what she didn’t tell, while Anirudh stares at Jhanak after she begs him not to scream at her because she didn’t reveal anything.
