Nidhi is horrified to learn that Shaurya no longer wants to visit her at the police station, where she waits for her son, who won’t allow her to meet her. She believes she fell short of her son’s expectations as a mother. She has always accused Karan of ignoring his son, but she was also guilty of neglecting her son at once. Nidhi resolves that she will not allow Preeta to destroy the bond she has developed with Karan because she is determined to learn from her past errors.

Rajveer makes up reasons for Karan not to seek Preeta while Karan, uninformed of her location, attempts to find out where she went.
