Koffee with Karan is one of the most talked chat shows where Bollywood celebrities share their deepest secrets on the coffee couch. Many celebrities appeared in the show. In a 2019 episode, Karan Johar has shared that Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor have featured on every season of Koffee With Karan. The actors make confessions and even give shocking revelations to answer questions about other celebrities. The show originally started in 2004.
Karan Johar always called unconventional pairing celebrities on the show. He invited Kareena Kapoor to his show along with actors Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Priyanka Chopra. Kareena gave answers to most of his questions and even sometimes raised eyebrows with her answers. Along with Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukerji, and Kangana Ranaut too gave sassy answers on the show over the period of time.
A Reddit user shared a post and compiled some sassy comments made by celebrities in Koffee With Karan that are too good to miss. The caption reads, “New gen could never.”
One such post is from the episode of season 2. It features Kareena Kapoor with then-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. Kareena was asked if she wanted to work with actor John Abraham who was dating Bipasha Basu at that time. To which Kareena replied, “I don’t want to work with John Abraham, because he is expressionless.”
In the season 3 episode, Kareena Kapoor mocked Priyanka Chopra for her accent. When Karan Johar asked her what she would like to ask Priyanka, Kareena said, “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.” In another episode featuring Priyanka Chopra in season 3, Priyanka Chopra reverts back to Kareena Kapoor’s remark about her accent. Priyanka said, “I think it’s the same place that her boyfriend gets it from.”
Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor appeared together in Koffee With Karan season 6 and put an end to their tiff. In one such episode from Koffee With Karan season 2, Rani Mukerji criticized Preity Zinta for talking too much. She said, “I think Preity talks too much, she should talk less.”
Kangana Ranaut also appeared on Koffee with Karan in 2019. It was her second appearance on the show. When Karan Johar asked her, “Would you rather find true love and be poor or be rich and single.” Kangana Ranaut replied, “Your idea of poverty is very different from my idea of poverty.”
