Sanya Malhotra made a name for herself from incredible performances in the movies like Dangal, Badhaai Ho, Pataakha, Shakuntala Devi, to name a few. Her new film Pagglait was recently released on the OTT platform Netflix. A Bollywood actress made her appearance in the Colors TV dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 to promote her movie Pagglait. She recalled a time when she was rejected in a reality show by choreographer Dharmesh Yelande.
Dharmesh Yelande was the judge of the dance reality show when Sanya Malhotra gave the auditions six years ago. However, she was rejected that time. Six years after, she came to the reality show for the promotion of her movie Pagglait. Sanya Malhotra talked about the incident and said,
“Life has come a full circle for me today. Six years back, I had come to this studio for a dance-reality show audition and I did not clear it. And I remember, it was 1 a.m. in the night when I got free and I called my friend and said that I have not been able to get through and to come and pick me up. And you were there, Dharmesh sir. I was not able to clear it because of you. But now, I am here to promote my film.”
Dharmesh Yelande replied to it and said that the incident would have given you a lot of determination and courage. He congratulated Sanya Malhotra for the hard work and appreciated her for moving on and achieving her dreams. He said,
“I think when you must have left from here that day, you would have left with a lot of courage and determination that ‘Mujhe ab karke dikhana hai.”
