Shubhangi Atre is one of the most popular actresses on Indian television. Her role of Angoori bhabi in the sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! is so famous that many people remember her by her character name. She replaced Shilpa Shinde in the serial in 2016, and since then, she is doing an outstanding job as an Angoori bhabi character. Not many people are aware that Shubhangi Atre is married at a very early age to Piyush Poorey. She has completed 17 years of her marriage. With so much experience of married life, Shubhangi Atre talked about how the relationship works in the recent conversation with the Times of India. Shubhangi told,

“I still remember when he announced, I complete him it sure was romantic. But it doesn’t fly in the real world. According to me, If you rely on your partner to fulfil you, it can lead to an over-dependent relationship where you are not growing as individuals. Instead, couples in healthy relationships should ‘complement’, not ‘complete’ each other.”

Shubhangi Atre added that we have to be secure and mature while being open to another person. She continued,

“We should be secure, mature, and whole in ourselves while being open to the other person. So to ensure a happy marriage you have to nurture your own interests and desires, instead of waiting for your spouse to fill in the void.”

Shubhangi Atre said that she believes in doing things together. She continued,

“But we still do things together and also have fun together. While it’s important to not fully depend on your partner in order to maintain a happy marriage, it’s also necessary to share common experiences, injecting new activities and interests into relationship that strengthen the bond. So, for a happy marriage explore together and enjoy.”

She also shared that there are ups and downs in all relationships, and even in marriages, there are ups and downs. Shubhangi Atre concluded by saying,

“Like all relationships, there are ups and downs in marriages too. But when you fight, happy couples listen to each other’s point of view, recognize when the argument is going off the rails, and make the necessary repairs. If you and your spouse sometimes argue or are going through a rough patch, this does not necessarily mean you are in an unhappy marriage. In fact, it probably means you’re normal.”

We completely agree with you, Shubhangi Atre. The audience loves their Angoori bhabi, and they will also agree with you.
