Neelam warns Virendra that he is making a huge mistake by not allowing Lakshmi to go to the mental institution, which is the only option to treat her because she is in desperate need of medical attention. Lakshmi hugs Harleen closely and expresses her desire to stay with her and Mintu instead of going somewhere. Neelam becomes enraged and shouts at Lakshmi, informing her that her son’s name is Rishi, not Mintu. Lakshmi reports to Neelam that Rishi is the name of her doll, not her son, since Rishi sounds like a grown-up name, but Mintu is a child’s name, exactly like hers. Neelam yells that Rishi is not a child, prompting Virendra to soothe her down.

The next episode begins with Neelam storming out while Virendra reminds Lakshmi that she has nothing to worry about because her father is there for her. Lakshmi joyfully approaches Virendra and embraces him, to which Karishma responds that everyone would scorn them now simply because of Lakshmi. Rishi demands that whoever is making fun of his family come and speak to him first. Rishi then walked towards Lakshmi, telling her he would never leave her side, prompting Lakshmi to embrace him joyfully. Later, Sonal advises Malishka to calm down because if Lakshmi recovers her memories, she will terminate her game. Sonal then requests that Malishka tell her who the drunken moron she was attempting to contact before is.
