Twinkle Khanna recalled the story of her first period. She was in hostel and one day in the canteen, she discovered that she was having periods. Zareen Khan tells that she never asked for a day off just because of the period. It is a natural phenomenon that occurs each month. She also thinks that it is not that much big of an issue as the society has made it.

Unlike most of the actresses, Sonam Kapoor was happy when she got her first period. She used to ask her mother about the periods.
4. Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu says that the girls are stronger than the boys. During the menstrual periods, they tolerate the pain which is same as the pain someone gets during a heart attack. She further told that the periods affect the work so she takes medicines to avoid periods sometimes.
5. Kareena Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor doesn’t think that period is a subject that should be kept as a secret. She thinks that both male and female should be aware of this. Moreover, she tells that a girl has to take care of the hygiene during the periods.
