There are some films that don’t aim to reinvent anything. They simply want to entertain. Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 belongs exactly in that space. It arrives eight years after the first film charmed mass audiences with its confusion-filled comedy. This time, the expectations are very different. Kapil is returning after a long gap. KKPK 2 also stars Kapil Sharma, Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, Ayesha Khan, Asrani, Akhilendra Mishra, Sushant Singh, and Vipin Sharma. The space of clean family comedies hardly exists today. And on top of everything, the Dhurandhar wave from last week is so massive that Kapil’s film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is struggling to even secure decent screens, let alone recreate the business of the first instalment.

But does Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (KKPK 2) still manage to deliver laughter? Yes, it does, just keep the logic at home. And it does so with the same old formula: love, lies, and absolute madness.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Story

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (KKPK 2) follows Mohan Sharma, played by Kapil Sharma, who runs a restaurant in Bhopal and lives with his parents. Mohan dreams of marrying Sania, played by Hira Warina. Their families are not on the same page, and the objections come quickly. In a dramatic and rather hilarious twist, Mohan decides to convert to Islam, calling himself Mehmood, just to marry her. This gesture melts Sania’s father’s heart. But fate has other plans for him.

Before Mohan can even understand what is happening, one misunderstanding leads to another. He ends up marrying Ruhi. Then a sudden turn lands him in another marriage with Meera. And when he tries to take a break in Goa under the name Michael, he accidentally marries Jenny. What begins as a silly slip quickly turns into a full circus of identities.

Meanwhile, Sania suddenly goes missing. Her disappearance deepens the chaos. Now Mohan is juggling four relationships, each unaware of the others. This comedy of errors gets more tangled when Inspector David D’Costa begins questioning him, adding a layer of pressure and fear to Mohan’s already crowded life.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 uses all these elements to keep the story moving with misunderstandings, close calls and outrageous twists. The narrative remains in the zone of a classic farcical comedy. Nothing is subtle. Nothing is logical. That is the charm and also the limitation of the film.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Movie Review

If you enter the KKPK 2 expecting realism, you will be disappointed. But if you walk in for lighthearted fun, then Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 does its job reasonably well.

Director Anukalp Goswami stays true to the tone of the first film. The writing is filled with funny scenes, quick humor, and silly moments that bring old-school Bollywood chaos back. The screenplay is simple to follow despite the complicated life Mohan leads. The confusion never becomes confusing for the viewer, which is a win for a film in this genre.

The religious jokes are surprisingly well-balanced and never offensive. They generate laughter without crossing lines. The film also ensures that every marriage situation, as absurd as it sounds, feels convincing enough within its comic world.

However, several flaws stand out. Sania missing for days with no concern from her family makes no sense. In the first film, the protagonist had a logical reason for his long absences. Here, the wives seem to accept everything blindly. These loopholes are noticeable. They don’t break the film, but they do show the lack of detailed writing.

The music is one of the film’s weaker sections. None of the songs sticks with you. Phurrr is decent. Aaja Hulchul Karenge is energetic but forced. Ranjhe Nu Heer and Har Safar Mein don’t add much value. The background score by Parikshit Sharma and Nishadh Chandra supports the film’s mood. It keeps the energy light and playful.

Ravi Yadav’s cinematography is decent. The colour palette is bright, matching the cheerful tone of the film. Production design by Ashok Lokare and Rucha Mayekar leans a little loud, but that suits the world the film is set in.

The action portions by Abbas Ali Moghul are functional and not distracting. Costume design by Ginni Kapil Sharma and Naahid Shah feels authentic and adds personality to the characters. Editing by Hussain A Burmawala is sharp, but trimming a few songs could have tightened the narrative further. Overall, the film’s technical side is competent, with music being the only weak link.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (KKPK 2) Performances

Kapil Sharma remains the heart and soul of the film. Comedy is his comfort zone, and his timing is still impeccable. Whether it is panic, romance, or confusion, Kapil Sharma carries every moment with charm. He never overdoes it, which helps the chaos feel natural rather than forced.

Manjot Singh Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2

Manjot Singh is delightful and adds spark to many scenes. Among the female leads, Tridha Choudhary gets the maximum space and uses it well. She looks confident and convincing. Hira Warina, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan are good, but their roles are limited; still, they create a decent impact.

The late Asrani appears in a small role and brings instant nostalgia. Sushant Singh as Inspector David is well-cast and adds seriousness to the silly world of Mohan’s life. Vipin Sharma and Akhilendra Mishra deliver strong supporting performances. Jamie Lever and Jimmy Moses bring genuine laughs. Their scenes lighten the dull patches and push the film back into its comic groove.

Ginni Kapil Sharma’s special appearance is sweet and adds a personal touch. The entire cast supports the film’s tone, ensuring the comedy never loses its rhythm.

Final Verdict

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (KKPK 2) is a clean, fun, family-friendly entertainer that stays inside its comfort zone. The logic is not there, so it is better to watch it for fun, rather than finding logic in the film. The jokes land more often than not. Kapil Sharma is in fine form. The confusion-filled storytelling keeps you smiling.

But the timing of the release is unfortunate. With Dhurandhar dominating headlines, screens, and audience attention, Kapil’s film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 faces an uphill battle at the box office. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will rely heavily on word-of-mouth and loyalty from Kapil’s fan base. As a film, it delivers a good amount of laughter and a pleasant viewing experience, even with its flaws.
