Today’s Kundali Bhagya episode, 16th August 2023, features Karan breaking down after Dadi discusses Preeta and states how much her absence has hurt him. Dadi just then tells him that Preeta continually lets them feel her presence, regardless of how they remember or refer to her. Dadi recalls how Preeta and she first hated one other before falling in love. Rishabh concurs and recalls how she used to settle disputes between him and Karan. Karan ponders the possibility of bringing Preeta back and queries Dadi about her reaction. While Karan believes it is time to act and get Preeta back by Kavya’s wedding, Dadi informs him that it will be nothing short of a miracle.

Preeta’s Distress
Shrishti approaches Preeta while expressing distress and inquires about her thoughts. Preeta confesses that Karan Luthra’s ideas inexorably take up space in her mind. Shrishti mutters to herself that Preeta is experiencing flashes of her memories as a result. Additionally, Preeta claims that Karan Luthra calls her name in her nightmares, which drives her insane. Shrishti turns the situation amusing by encouraging Preeta to think about her so she also appears in her dreams.
Palki Keeps A Condition
Shanaya complains to Gurpreet at Khurana’s home that Palki needs a new outfit since she feels embarrassed discussing fashion at Luthra’s home and then turns to gaze at Palki. When they hear Luthra’s name, Daljeet and Shailendra become concerned, but Palki reassures them that she is only there to take good care of Shaurya and Kavya’s Dadi. Shanaya declares she would create Kavya’s wedding gown and plans to transform Palki. Palki agrees to it, but only if Shanaya consents to accompany her tomorrow to the temple. Unexpectedly Shanaya accepts it.
Rakhi And Rishabh’s Lie
While all is happening, Rishabh and Rakhi are on their way someplace when Karan stops them. Rakhi and Rishabh lie and say they are headed to the mall to give Kavya a gift for assisting Rajveer when Kavya arrives and asks what is happening.
Day Of Resting For Shaurya
While Shaurya and Nidhi see the customary Luthra interaction from upstairs, Mahesh arrives there. Mahesh sees Shaurya staring and asks him to come downstairs while complimenting him on his work at the workplace. Shaurya excuses himself after Karan asks him to relax as it is Sunday and hence a day for resting.
Nidhi’s Promise To Herself
Meanwhile, Nidhi feels that she has turned into a scaredy cat and is startled by even the smallest noise. She promises to revert to her previous self, who had no fear of anything or anybody, especially Preeta, in order to prevent this.
Daljeet’s Complain
Daljeet constantly complains about how Shanaya isn’t assisting her in the cooking and is instead preoccupied with giving Palki a makeover at Khurana’s home.
