The teaser of Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Sanju is out and it has left everyone stunned. Ranbir Kapoor completely impersonated Sanjay Dutt in the movie. The trailer for the movie will be released on 27th April 2018 but the teaser of the film was released on Tuesday, 24th April 2018. The movie Sanju is based on the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay was not in India back when the teaser was released. He is currently out of the country for the shooting of his upcoming project.
Sanjay Dutt Praised Ranbir Kapoor’s Performance
Since Sanjay Dutt is not in India he could not make it to the teaser launch event. However, he recorded a video and praised Ranbir Kapoor for his amazing work. He said,
“I still cannot believe that a biopic is being made on my life story. I wanted to join the team during the teaser launch event but I am shooting outside the country. I have watched some scenes from the movie and I could not believe my eyes what I saw. Ranbir Kapoor completely impersonated me.”
Sanjay Dutt Warned The Director
At the end of the video, he said,
“Raju, agli Munnabhai main Ranbir ko Nahi le Lena Samjha Kya (Raju, don’t cast Ranbir in the next Munnabhai Project”.
He does know that Ranbir Kapoor looks perfect in the role of Munnabhai.
Ranbir Kapoor Looks Exactly Like Sanjay Dutt
The teaser has been viewed more than 1.7m times within a day of its release. Ranbir Kapoor has nailed the character physically in the teaser; it feels like Sanjay Dutt, himself is telling his story.
There is no doubt, Ranbir Kapoor has nailed it and he eventually got us even more excited for the movie. The trailer for the movie will be released on 27 April 2018 and we just can’t wait for it.
