While the School of Lies may sound like another boarding school thriller, you would be astounded to figure out the freshness in the series. This is not your typical thriller but the one that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Furthermore, one of the great things about the series is its fantastic cast. Sam (Aamir Bashir) does a commendable job as a housemaster, trying to safeguard the school’s reputation. However, it is evident that he has his secrets, as he is reluctant to involve the police. On the other hand, Nandita (Nimrat Kaur), as the Career Counsellor, tries to politely interrogate the students while juggling her personal life.

Furthermore, Sonali Kulkarni also does a fine job portraying the mother of the child. The emotions are top-notch. Varin Roopani and Aryan Singh Ahlawat as the senior, also play a crucial role.

With this series, Avinash Arun very well brings out the picture of how lonely a kid feels at boarding school. The portrayal of the hard-hitting realities of boarding schools is also well shown. Each character has their own skeleton in the closet. Will they come out at the end of the show? It would be fun to see.
