The story of Shershaah revolves around the life of Captain Vikram Batra. Since childhood, Vikram wants to become an army officer. In college, he met Dimple Cheema portrayed by Kiara Advani, and fall in love with her. In Jammu and Kashmir, the militants are targeting people. Haider is the mastermind. One of the colleagues of Vikram Batra was martyred. Vikram Batra took the charge in his hand and kills Haider.

After the death of Haider, Pakistan attacks India and captures various points. Lieutenant Vikram Batra and his team have been assigned a task to recapture Point 5140 which is 17000 feet. The team successfully completes the mission. Lieutenant Vikram Batra was immediately promoted to Captain Vikram Batra. However, Point 4875 was still under Pakistan’s capture. Vikram Batra insists to go to Point 4875. Watch out for the movie to find out what happens next.

Shershaah is Sidharth Malhotra best work to date. Sidharth Malhotra delivers powerful performance. He made this role of himself. Kiara Advani was good in the role of Dimple Cheema. However, her screen presence was less. But, being a patriotic movie it is understandable. The cinematography is brilliant. Director Vishnuvardhan did amazing work. The background score of the movie gives you goosebumps.

Shershaah is a strong patriotic film that is surely a game-changer for Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is a true inspiration to the people. It shows how the army deals with and faces the situation.  The valor and sacrifice of Captain Vikram Batra will make you emotional. Yeh Dil Maange More Sir, Yeh Dil Maange More. These words from Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra are immortal. There is no big religion other than patriotism; No other wealth than wearing a soldier uniform; No other bravery other than serving for the country. Overall, Shershaah is a tribute to Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra and it is a clear winner, a must-watch, kyuki Yeh Dil Maange More. It really deserves a theatrical release. We give Shershaah 4.5 stars out of 5.
