In today’s September 11, 2023 of Anupama, Anuj, Anupama, Adhik, Ankush, and Barkha return to their home from the Shah mansion. Adhik watches Romil becoming upset and wonders if his return has affected Romil to such an extent before Anuj invites everyone to take a nap. Anuj responds that Anupama needs to take care of herself and that her constant sobbing will not bring Pakhi back. Continue reading to know what transpires in the episode.

Romil’s Acts Weird
Anuj warns everyone that the police are coming to their house shortly to search the phones and Pakhi’s room. When Romil learns about the police, he becomes anxious. Anupama observes him immediately walking to his room and attempting to control his shaking hand. Romil locks the door and begins to fear, wondering what he would do if the cops decide to look for his phone and discover the truth.
Anupama Wishes Anuj
Anupama surprises Anuj when he exits the bathroom at midnight by presenting him with a letter, a rose, and a birthday greeting. She responds that she hasn’t stopped being a wife even though her daughter isn’t with them after Anuj reads the brief poem and thanks her for remembering his birthday despite the circumstances. Anupama’s birthday greeting to him when they first met, which gave him life in the same manner it does now, is recalled by Anuj. Anupama and Anuj embrace, and Anupama apologizes for not being able to do more, to which Anuj responds that he needs a great party after Pakhi returns.
The Janmashtami Celebration
The following day, both families observe Janmashtami in a modest way by praying to Lord Krishna, and Vanraj requests that God spare his children from suffering for his sins. Anuj says he needs Pakhi’s return as his birthday present, while Anupama pleads with Lord Krishna to bring Pakhi back on his special day.
When Romil doesn’t return after Aarti, Anupama decides to give him Prasad when he is in his room and engaged in a phone conversation. Adhik, who is standing behind Romil and giving him the prasad while claiming that Anupama sent it, surprises him. Romil asks Adhik to leave his room after Adhik threatens to fight Romil if his suspicions are confirmed, and Romil is somehow connected to Pakhi’s situation.
Anupama Follows Romil
Romil determines he must meet his pal, so he sneakily down the stairs without anyone noticing. Romil hides himself from Anupama and leaves the house, but when Anupama looks in the mirror and sees him, she is startled and wonders where he is going.
Anupama notices Romil acting nervously and follows him in a car. She then gets out of the vehicle in a sketchy area and wonders why Romil would be there.
