The dialogue in the movie is apt, strong, and exceptional. It also shows the power of the national forces, including the women officers. Adah Sharma is back again with an outstanding performance. She is cheerful and glamorous. Additionally, Indira Tiwari as Ratna is also stunning as Ratna. Anangsha Biswas is also very interesting to watch out for. Biswas is excellent in terms of her performance and expressions.

Moreover, Shilpa Shukla, as the lawyer, and Raima Sen as a professor, are effective as well. Other supporting cast have also done a fine job in the movie. Furthermore, the direction of the film by Sudipto Sen shows his passion. This is clear in each scene of the movie. His execution of the brutal sequences is very gripping. Additionally, with this movie, Sen brought up a social and national evil. Meanwhile, there is less music in the film, but it is expertly rendered.

However, the movie also has heavy political undertones. These might seem a little complicated and unpleasant at times, and some scenes might make you feel uncomfortable. Overall, Bastar is a good attempt and deserves an audience. Additionally, the makers have included some expanded violence in a few scenes that could have been trimmed.
